My First Encounter With Jesus (Excerpt from Broken to Beautiful)
The first time I saw Jesus in a vision, I was afraid.
He said, “Don’t be scared, I’m calling you to come to Me.”
But I resisted.Not because I didn’t want Him…But because I was terrified of what my Muslim family and community would say.I told Him He was only a prophet, not the Son of God.But He came back again. And He didn’t give up on me.
He said, “If you come to Me, I will forgive you for everything you’ve done.”
Sisters, His love pursues. It is unrelenting, unshaken by your fears, untouched by your past.
You might be afraid of what people will say… but hear me:
Jesus is not afraid to be seen with you.
He will keep coming—again and again—until you’re ready to say yes.
He’s calling. Will you answer?
