Keeping You in the Loop
We’ve successfully progressed our transition to the Borderless platform and are now in the onboarding phase with Sachiel Ventures as an angel investing collective.
Recap of our decision
In my last email, I shared our decision to change the Long Term Investor Club to Sachiel Ventures and move our operations to the Borderless platform because it provides the infrastructure we need to operate effectively as an angel investing collective. Borderless supports collective management, investor onboarding, compliance, and fund collection, which allows us to focus on backing great founders alongside the necessary education needed to understand Angel Investing and Venture Capital and also Africa's Startup Ecosystem.
Onboarding progress
Over the last two weeks, I met with the Borderless onboarding team to review our structure, goals, and compliance requirements. Our application has been approved, and we have now formally moved into the onboarding phase on the platform.
What to expect next week
Before the end of next week, you should receive an email invite to join Sachiel Ventures on Borderless. This email will contain a link to create or log into your Borderless account and complete any required onboarding steps as an investor in our collective. This would be free for now.
Our investment thesis
Alongside the invite, we will share a clear articulation of our investment thesis. We aim to build one of the most active and largest angel networks focused on deploying capital to founders building the next infrastructure layer that will power African economies. This includes backing technology and infrastructure startups that enable financial access, logistics, productivity tools, and other foundational services across the continent.
