May 16, 2026 - Verse of the Day - Acts 17:27-28
27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. 28 ‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’
Essentially, the whole of reality is a construct of the mind of the observer, and since God is always observing and always present, he is the ultimate reality through him all things have their existence.
If God is love as we saw it in yesterday's passage, then love underpins the universe. Thigh is the reason we "live, and move, and exist." When we act according to his loving design, we experience God in a personal and wonderful way, and we get to know the creator whose image we bare and reflect. We act according to our natural, wired–for–love design – the key component for a healthy lifestyle!
