From Braider & Loctician to Digital Creator
Hey, my name is Jonae. In 2021, I had just became a new mother and was working from home & doing hair in my home salon when I found RedLoctitan Academy. I joined with the intention of getting better with retwisting & styling, believing it would help me make more money in less time than braiding could. The course taught me so much more, including showing me how to create physical and digital products to provide for my customers to help with at-home haircare maintenance between services.
What that did for me was expanded my mindset to a new way of conducting business. After I completed the program, I continued intentionally building my digital business as it served more meaning in my life to me and matched my lifestyle much more as I learned my son had a learning disability which required more of my attention. As I slowly began to do hair less, the mindset shift I had during my time in the Academy fully supported me while I transitioned. Now, I have an online community encouraging people with similar experiences how to make the shift from being an employee to being Self-employed online and have created several streams of income by selling digital products & online services.
