Pre Compost Started Indoors For First Time
First of all, much prefer mixing outdoors. ☺️
The goal is to divide into 3 to help start 3 26 gallon bins in a couple of weeks !
Last night I mixed 16 gallons of Micro Cross Cut cardboard with 3 gal of Coffee Grounds, 1.5 qts each of water, Veg Slurry, Rice rinse water, Banana Skins Water, Yeast culture liquid and Veg water from boiling and steaming that was beginning to mould.
Great moisture content and this morning had risen 25° above ambient room temperature.
Just added another 2 qts of yeast culture water and 3 qts of coffee grounds.
Looking forward to see what temps it will be at 11 pm tonight and then in the morning.
Very Happy with results so far !
