WHO TAUGHT YOU TO COLOR BETWEEN THE LINES?
Think about it…
As kids, we were praised for staying inside the lines.
Stay neat.
Follow directions.
Don’t go outside the box.
And there’s nothing wrong with that — it taught us discipline, focus, structure.
But somewhere along the way…
We stopped dreaming outside the lines too.
We started living:
Inside other people’s expectations
Inside safe careers
Inside comfort zones
Inside “someday”
And then we wonder why life feels routine instead of electric.
Live Everyday Like Friday isn’t about recklessness…
It’s about energy.
It’s about possibility.
It’s about living with anticipation instead of hesitation.
Friday feels different because WE feel different.
We loosen up.
We smile more.
We think bigger.
We breathe deeper.
That’s coloring outside the lines.
It’s deciding:
• I will pursue the idea.
• I will make the call.
• I will take the trip.
• I will build the dream.
• I will live now — not “one day.”
The world taught you structure.
Now life is inviting you into expansion.
The tragedy isn’t that we were taught to color inside the lines…
The tragedy is arriving at the end of life with a blank space where bold color should have been.
This week, do one thing outside the lines.
One brave move.
One uncomfortable action.
One Friday-level decision on a Monday.
Because Fridays don’t change your life.
Courage does.
