The disciples had every reason to panic.

Professional fishermen. They knew these waters. They'd weathered countless storms.

But this one was different. Waves crashing over the boat. Water flooding in. Death felt imminent.

And Jesus? Asleep on a cushion.

When they woke Him in terror, He stood up and spoke three words to the storm: "Peace! Be still!"

Instant calm.

Here's what moves me about this moment: Jesus has the same authority over whatever is terrifying you right now. That financial crisis keeping you up at night. That diagnosis that's shaken your world. That relationship that's falling apart. That future you can't control.

The same voice that silenced a deadly storm speaks to your chaos today.

He doesn't always remove the storm immediately. But He's always present in it. And His authority over it is absolute.
