Hello everyone.
I'm personally not interested in today's price action until after the FOMC decision.
On the higher timeframes we're still consolidating, and we have a major catalyst ahead of us that will likely influence the market's direction over the coming days. Until that announcement is out of the way, I expect conditions to remain uncertain, with a higher chance of false moves, failed breakouts and price chopping around without any real conviction.
I'll be observing how price reacts after the FOMC announcement and assessing whether the market gives us a high-probability opportunity once the dust settles. If we get something worth taking, I'll share my thoughts and any potential setups with you all.
Remember, not trading is a position too.
You don't get paid for how many trades you take. You get paid for the quality of the decisions you make. Sitting on your hands when the odds aren't in your favour isn't a missed opportunity, it's good risk management. Protecting your capital on days where clear price action isn't expected often puts you in a much better position to capitalise when the market finally shows its hand. Patience isn't time wasted, it's part of the edge.
