This morning, I was reading through Exodus and was thinking of women who started it all. Long before the burning bush or the parting of the Red Sea, there were the midwives Shiphrah and Puah, a mother named Jochebed, a sister named Miriam, and even Pharaoh’s daughter.
Their roles were largely hidden and their names aren't always the first we mention, but Moses lived because they were faithful. Through their diligence and discernment, they chose integrity over fear and mercy over status. They didn't need a platform to be part of God’s mission;
they just needed to be faithful.
It reminded me that our purpose as women and mothers often unfolds in the "unseen." When we choose to obey in the quiet moments—protecting our children, staying vigilant in prayer, and doing the hard, unnoticed work—we are fulfilling a divine design.
Your mission doesn't have to be loud to be significant. When we align our hearts with His, our simple, daily diligence becomes a vital part of a much larger story of redemption.
Be encouraged today: your "hidden" work is seen by Him, and your quiet obedience is changing the world.
