Avoid losing your muscle
Ok, my story has been a 3 year journey so far. And I switched to Retatrutide last August.
While I was losing the weight I wanted to lose I started to see a little flab that I didn’t have before. So I wanted to then ‘tone’ up. I started lifting and working out 5 days a week consistently for MONTHS. I had my body tested every few months and I had lost weight but NOT body fat %. So that meant that my body was eating my muscles.
So I did a deep dive and found out that it is SOOOOO super important to get the protein in every day that your body needs. You need about 1 gram of protein PER your body weight per day. And I thought ‘there is no way I can do that on Retatrutide!!’ 😂😂
So I started logging it!!! 130 grams of protein a day. NO MATTER WHAT. And guess what???? The first 30 days I lost 4% body fat!!! BOOM.
So it’s unbelievable important that you get your protein. You don’t want to be skinny fat where your arms jiggle😂😂
