Slack Automation (Call New Members in <5 Min)

You need to call new members within 5 minutes.
Here’s how to automate that using Skool + Slack in just 3 minutes:
🛠 Step-by-Step Setup
(If you don’t have one yet)
- Trigger App: Skool
- Trigger Event: New Member Joined (answered membership questions)
- Connect your Skool account
3. Choose Slack as the action app
- Action Event: Send Channel Message
- Pick the channel you want the message to show up in (e.g. #fish)
4. Customize the Slack message
Include:
- First name
- Phone number
- 🎯 Their reason for joining
You can even add a fun icon (like 💸) by pasting an image link into the Zap settings.
5. Test your Zap — you’re done! 🚀
Now every new member drops into your Slack instantly, ready to be called.
