Welcome — and thank you for being here 👋
This community is for anglophones living in France or planning a move here, who want clear, practical information about everyday life.
France can be wonderful… and also confusing.Admin, language, cultural differences, housing — it’s easy to feel lost or unsure what information to trust.
This space is here to:
✔️share real-life insight (not theory)
✔️explain how things actually work
✔️answer questions in plain English
✔️connect people who are in a similar situation
A bit about me: I've lived in France since 2003 and finally became French in 2024. I now run a small language school in Perpignan (online classes also available!) but previously ran a business helping non-French speakers with the infamous French administration. My husband is an estate agent working with local and international buyers, so between us we see a lot of the same questions come up again and again.
This is a free community. There’s no obligation to buy anything — the aim is simply to be helpful and clear. From time to time, I may mention services we offer when they’re genuinely relevant.
For now, I’d love to know:👉 Are you living in France already, or planning a move?
Feel free to introduce yourself in the comments — and welcome again 🤍
