The Darkness Wins If….
The darkness wins if
We surrender to it’s magic
The darkness wins if
We feed on all that’s tragic
The darkness wins if
We stubbornly turn from light
The darkness wins if
We choose to give up the good fight
The darkness wins if
We hold onto hate
The darkness wins if
We believe salvation is too late
The darkness wins if
We choose strife instead of healing
The darkness wins if
We shut down our every feeling
The darkness wins if
We believe we are a burden
The darkness wins if
We don’t see everyday is a new learning
The darkness wins if
We tell ourselves lies
The darkness wins if
We hide behind a disguise
The darkness wins if
We don’t see it’s us with the power
The darkness wins if
We choose when is our final hour
The light wins if
We surrender to it’s grace
The light wins if
We simply love the human race….
For all things exist
To show us who we are
We originated as light
We are brighter than a star
And that light one day
Will be who we again are
And the darkness eventually will lose
Is that day near or far???
