I’ve always loved Static Shock and all that he represented for black kids in New York City at that time. I was raised in Brooklyn, New York and static shock was raised in Harlem, New York, so in that I felt that we shared the same type of struggles trials and tribulations.
This show not only showcase that but also showcase a variety of different type of teenagers in a high school because that was the upper that I always saw, and it was great to see that upbringing be shown in cartoon form.
