This post broke my heart

Is it just me or are all the remote jobs on the job board sites just for show? I homeschool my kiddos, I have to have a remote job (among other reasons). The struggle to find a real remote position has been rough. It's been a year now that I've been searching and nothing. Had maybe a handful of interviews and most of those were for in person positions. I have a University level education and extensive work experience. My biggest hindrance has been necessity of a remote position. Is there anything out there that's actually hiring?

I don't need a job coach and I've done all the job board sites as well as applications on direct site. I'm desperate at this point.
