A Bit About LJ
Good morning one and all - been remiss in not having had time to do this sooner but wanted to thank so many of you who welcomed me into this community. I'm impressed with what Allan built and look forward to contributing more in the future.
Currently, I'm focusing on building a curriculum to accompany my recently-launched book - The Reinvention Sanctuary. It centers on a governance‑based, design‑informed framework for leaders whose capacity has fundamentally changed. My mission is to help high‑performing professionals restore coherence (before direction) by establishing clear decision criteria, realistic boundaries and sequencing that respects their current capacity. This isn’t coaching or therapy; it’s structured support for calm, sustainable decision‑making when returning to “before” isn’t possible. This work is in my heart and soul - I lived it.
It's taking up a significant portion of my time and was recently overshadowed by an immediate need to generate income (In addition to having two chronic medical conditions I've been on extended medical leave recuperating from 10 surgeries since October 2023) immediately. So, I dove into a course this week to learn how to build a system in a white-label Go High Level software. From someone who didn't even know how to use it on Monday to being 90% complete with my product, I'm pretty damned proud of my almost 64 year old self!
I began to attend several free AI workshops from different "experts" out there and tried to understand the basics (one of the many issues I deal with as a person learning to live with extreme chronic fatigue is fog brain) so I could process it in my head last October. Finally, I jumped all-in mid-January. If it weren't for AI, I'd still be struggling through the writing phase of my book. AI helped me strategically edit my book, designed my cover, publish it, promote it (that's a tough one - I'm still learning!) and made me feel competent again, something that hasn't transpired since I began my medical leave!
I'll be looking to you for assistance every now and then. I do try to work things out with the different LLMs first, but sometimes I get stuck and unfortunately, my service dog isn't of much help to me on that front (though he has saved my life more times now than I can count) - LOL! So, I'll be asking some pertinent (I hope!) questions.
On an even more personal note, I haven't watched broadcast television since the pandemic. I abhor how the media has turned society into gullible pawns using one another to pit ourselves against each other. No bueno. Many blame politicians, nope - go back to the source, the so-called journalists who slant the truth every which way. Then, the rest of us react.
As an avid fan of nostalgic television, I'm addicted to classic shows that I didn't see in their original heyday programming back in Canada. Shows like The Mod Squad, The Rookies, Adam 12, Batman, Dragnet, Perry Mason, and so much more. You'll find MeTv, MeTv+, FETV, MT Classics, Antenna TV, and several other stations programmed on my television!
Now, in reply to Allan's question on an ideal person I'd love to talk to everyday? No one. I meet with my higher power and discuss things with Him, trying to emulate the life I'm supposed to live daily, it's a struggle but I've never forsaken Him.
The call you missed this morning already called someone else. I fix that.
