Devotion for today.
A message from my spirit to yours
With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience.
Ephesians 4:2
I read this verse this morning and want you to chew on it with me this morning. I noticed it said tender humility and quiet patience a specific kind of humility and patience instead of letting our minds figure out what he means. And so I looked up what does tender humility and quiet patience look like and this is what I found:
Tender humility is a gentle awareness that you don't have to prove your worth, be right all the time, or be the center of attention.
Quiet patience is not passive resignation. It is steady endurance without constant complaining, panicking, or forcing outcomes.
So now that you know this let's read that verse again and see if it makes a more profound image on you I know it did me that's why I'm sharing it with you. So I'm talking you not to just read Scripture any more but dig in and truly understand what our Abba is telling you when you read it. Have a blessed Sabbath day 💜🫂🙏
