Speaking with clear intentions
A lack of emotional control while communicating can lead to heated disagreements. Checking yourself before responding is a way to recalibrate yourself. Give yourself time to process before responding to things that trigger emotion. Once we can remove emotion and clearly hear the message, we can come to better understandings which will produce better responses!
