Community Rules – The Project Emerald Collective
This community exists to make secondhand Australia’s first choice. To do that, we need it to feel safe, supportive, and inclusive for everyone.
1. Be kind and encouraging
Everyone is on a different point in their secondhand journey. No shaming, no judgement, no “you should know better” energy.
2. Confidence over comparison
We celebrate real wardrobes, repeat outfits, and personal style. This isn’t about trends, perfection, or keeping up.
3. Secondhand first
This is a secondhand-led space. Please don’t promote fast fashion or buying new as the default.
4. Keep it circular
Repairs, re-wearing, re-styling and thoughtful consumption are encouraged. Over-consumption — even secondhand — isn’t the goal.
5. No selling outside Project Emerald
To keep things fair and aligned, all buying and selling should happen via the Project Emerald app. Links to listings are welcome — private sales are not.
6. No spam or self-promotion
This space is for community, not pitching. If you’re a brand, stylist, or service provider, please check with the admins first.
7. Respect privacy
What’s shared here stays here unless someone explicitly says otherwise.
If something feels off
Message the admins. We’re here to support the community and keep this space aligned.
