Hi everyone. Have really been struggling with AI marketing content that sounds polished but gets zero replies recently. Also, over the last few months I've banged my head against the wall wondering how in God's name I was going to fix posts that look “professional” but never turn into DMs or calls — and I know a lot of people here have been too.
Anyway, I was talking to ChatGPT and I think I've got it. Wanted to share it with you all in case it was helpful (should be less than $10/m):
- Before you ask ChatGPT to write anything, paste 3 real customer messages or reviews into the chat (DMs, emails, Google reviews — their words, not yours). Tell it: “These are how my buyers talk. Mirror this language. Do not use marketing buzzwords.”
- Give it one job only: write a short post that names ONE painful problem from those messages, ONE simple fix, and ONE clear next step (comment / DM / book a call). No long “value bombs,” no 10 tips lists.
- Before you post, delete anything that sounds like a brochure (“unlock,” “elevate,” “game-changer,” “leverage”). If you wouldn’t say it out loud to a client, cut it. Then post it and track replies, not likes.
I really hope this helps you 🙏 and happy to chat more if someone needs a walkthrough. Thank you!
