Hey girlies, as part of tomorrows The Social Side x Lash Techs IRL event in Manchester I've created a 7 day social media plan to give you a lil boost if you need it 🥳

How to use the plan 👇🏻

📌 Post 1x per day (Reels, Carousels, or Static Posts)📌 Post Stories DAILY (Use the Story Prompts)📌 Engage for 10-15 min before & after posting (Reply to DMs, comment on others' posts)

DAY 1 - Intro & Authority

✅ Grid Post: Introduce Yourself with a Personal Story

Why did you start lashing or training?
What’s unique about your services or courses?
Example: “5 years ago, I was struggling to get lash clients. Now, I’m fully booked & helping others do the same!”

🎥 Story Prompt -

Post a selfie or a BTS of you working
Use a poll sticker - “Are you a lash tech or just love getting your lashes done?”

💬 Engagement Tip -

Reply to at least 5 comments & 5 DMs today

DAY 2: Showcase your work

✅ Feed Post: Before & After or Client Transformation

Show a lash transformation & explain the benefits/process
Example Caption - “From short & fair to full & fluffy! My client wanted a natural but full look, so after our consultation we opted for brown hybrids, what do you think?”

🎥 Story Prompt:

Post a close-up video of your lash work
Use a quiz sticker “How long should lash extensions last? 2 weeks / 4 weeks / 6 weeks”

💬 Engagement Tip

DM everyone who engages & start a convo!

DAY 3: Education & Value

✅ Feed Post: Teach Something Simple

Example: “3 Reasons Your Lash Retention Isn’t Lasting (and How to Fix It!)”
If you’re a trainer: “The Biggest Mistakes New Lash Techs Make”

🎥 Story Prompt:

Film yourself talking: “Here’s a lash tip I wish more clients knew to make lashes last longer!”
Use a Q&A sticker: “Ask me anything about lashes!”

💬 Engagement Tip: -

Answer all questions in DMs with voice notes (if you've spoke to me on IG you know I love a voice note hehe

DAY 4: BTS & Relatable Content

✅ Feed Post: Show Your Process

Time-lapse of a lash set OR a funny relatable post (“Lash techs when a client says ‘I’ll let you know’ 😅”) (make sure you're not offending anyone with this one it's a fine line)

🎥 Story Prompt: -

Show your lash setup & ask: “What’s your fav part of getting lashes?”
Use a poll sticker: “Lashes: Wispy or Full?”

💬 Engagement Tip:

Reply to 10 IG stories from others

DAY 5: Social Proof & Results

✅ Feed Post: Client Testimonial or Student Success Story

Share a screenshot of a DM or review & explain the transformation.
Example Caption: “[Client’s name] wanted better lash retention—here’s how we made it happen!”

🎥 Story Prompt:

Post a client/students’ kind words & add a link to book.
Use a question sticker: “Want help picking the right lash style? DM me!”

💬 Engagement Tip:

Follow up with old inquiries & re-engage them

DAY 6: Call-to-Action & Offers

✅ Feed Post: Clear Call-to-Action (Offer or Booking Post)

Example: “2 lash slots left this week! Want a fresh set? DM ‘LASH’ to book!”
Trainers: “Next lash training on [date]! Want to be your own boss? DM ‘TRAIN’ for info!”

🎥 Story Prompt:

Show availability calendar: “Here’s my next openings! Grab your spot!”
Use a countdown sticker for urgency

💬 Engagement Tip:

DM past clients/students a loyalty discount or early booking incentive

DAY 7: Lifestyle & Personal Brand

✅ Feed Post: Personal or Motivational Post

Talk about your business journey, struggles & wins.
Example: “A year ago, I had no bookings. Now, I run a fully booked business! Hard work pays off.”

🎥 Story Prompt:

Post a day in the life video or something personal
Use a poll sticker: “Would you rather: Work for yourself or work for someone else?”

💬 Engagement Tip -

Spend 10 min engaging with ideal clients/students’ posts
