Wednesday-Grammar Focus!
👋 Happy Grammar Day, Everyone!
Today’s advanced grammar focus is:
🌟Inversion for Emphasis ✨
Sometimes in English, we change the normal word order to sound more formal, dramatic, or powerful.
🔹 Example:
❌ I had never seen such a beautiful place before.
✅ Never had I seen such a beautiful place before.
Another one:
❌ She rarely arrives late.
✅ Rarely does she arrive late.
These structures are common in:
  • Academic English 📚
  • IELTS & advanced writing ✍️
  • Professional communication 💼
  • Movies and speeches 🎬
🎯 Your Turn!
Rewrite this sentence using inversion:
👉 I had never experienced such a difficult exam.
Bonus challenge 💡
Create your own sentence using:
  • Rarely…
  • Never…
  • Only then…
  • Little did I know…
Drop your answers in the comments.
