Wednesday Focus: Functional Language
Good morning, everyone!
Today, we’re focusing on functional language—the expressions we use to communicate effectively in real-life situations.
In conversations, it’s important not only to share ideas but also to respond to others politely and clearly, especially when we agree or disagree.
💡 Agreeing
👉 I agree with you.
👉 That’s a good point.
👉 I think so too.
💡 Disagreeing (Politely)
👉 I see your point, but…
👉 I’m not sure I agree.
👉 I understand, however…
✏️ Task
Respond to this statement:
“Studying English every day is necessary.”
👉 Write 2–3 sentences using at least ONE agreeing or disagreeing phrase
🔑 Reminder
Good communication is not just about speaking—it’s about responding appropriately.
Let’s practise real conversations 😇
