Most things we use have travelled through landscapes and people's lives before they reach us.
Choose something ordinary that you use, wear or eat.
🔎 Become a landscape detective.
See what you can discover about it:
Where might it have begun? What land, plants, animals or raw materials were needed?
Who might have been involved? Who grew, made, transported or sold it?
What did it need along the way? Think about water, energy, packaging and transport.
What happens when we're finished with it?
What connections can you notice? How does something in your life connect you with people and landscapes elsewhere?
You don't need to find every answer. The expedition is about noticing connections that are usually hidden.
