Design Inspo: Modern Mediterranean Patio with Japanese Elements
This is obviously an AI rendering, and although there are plenty of design elements that just do not work here…. What I love about it? The textures! Just take a moment to review how all of these textures compliment each other and make the space feel welcoming and cohesive.
This modern Mediterranean space has hints of Japanese inspiration. The large format pavers on the floors and the perimeter walls give a soft concrete texture. The linear vertical warm wood on creates beautifully orchestrated visual movement and the softness of the ornamental grasses against the architectural agaves gives that final layer of rhythm that invites you to sit down and take a load off!
What good (or bad) elements do you think this design offers?
