Want to take the next step with your sharpening?
If you’ve tried the free introduction course, I hope it’s helped you get started—and that your knives are already cutting better.
Now I’m launching the Knife Sharpening Masterclass, where we build on those basics.
The part I’m most looking forward to is the live lessons. You can ask questions and, if you’d like, show me how you’re sharpening so I can help you work out what needs adjusting. You’re also welcome to watch and learn from everyone else’s questions.
I know how frustrating it is to follow instructions and still not understand why your knife isn’t getting sharp. It’s much easier for me to help when I can see what you’re doing.
Alongside those live lessons, the video course covers different kinds of knives, choosing stones and other abrasives, understanding steels and edge shapes, and sharpening with belt grinders and wet grinders such as Tormek.
We’ll also look at edge geometry and why a knife can feel sharp but still cut poorly. Whether you use kitchen knives, outdoor knives or carving knives, I want you to understand what your knife needs and how to check your progress.
The live lessons are included with the Masterclass and are for students who purchase it.
For this first group of students, I’m offering a founding-member price with 50% off.
That price is available through Wednesday 16 September. On Thursday, it doubles.
You can read the details and buy the course here in Classroom -> "Knife Sharpening Masterclass"
I’d love to see you in the live lessons.
