Just got off the Kingdom Lab mentorship Q&A and whew… it was honestly so refreshing. Even though I didn’t personally ask a question, hearing other people’s questions brought up things I didn’t even realize I needed to consider. And it didn’t feel performative or surface-level at all… it felt like real wisdom, real community, and genuine growth.
✨ A few key takeaways that stuck with me:
1. Live in your current season.
Not the one you’re praying for next. Not the one you’re waiting on. The one God has you in right now.
Because God doesn’t waste seasons… He develops us in them. Thrive in your contentment… but don’t get toooo comfortable. Stay hungry for where He’s taking you, but not to the extent of idolizing potential and neglecting the now.
2. Seek God passionately (not casually).
Like Matthew 6:33 talks about — seek first the Kingdom and trust that everything else will align in His timing. Not half-hearted seeking… but the kind that’s hungry, intentional, and consistent.
3. Even the confusing parts are still working for you.
Romans 8:28 really hit different in that space — because it’s a reminder that even when life feels unclear, God is still weaving it together for good when you’re walking in His purpose.
🔥 One of the MOST interesting parts of the conversation was about the fivefold ministry (Ephesians 4:11).
It was powerful realizing that not everyone fits neatly into one “office.” Some people are clearly graced with a specific lane, but others are so moldable and surrendered (not saying others aren’t!) that depending on the season and assignment, they can function in different expressions of the fivefold. Not because they’re unstable… but because they’re that pliable and obedient to the Spirit.
Overall, it was just encouraging to be in a space where people can share real struggles without it turning into negativity or “misery loves company,” but instead something that makes you more prayerful, more grounded, and more expectant for where God is taking you from now into the rest of the year and beyond.
