God...?
Elohim אֱלֹהִים (èlo-HEEM) is the masculine plural form of אֱלוֹהַ (è-LO-ah) meaning "God, power; deity", but even that can be further distilled due to the fact that nouns in Yahudith are often verbally derived. In this case, the term is further rendered down to a nominal value of אַיִל (AY-il) which carries the connotations of "a ram, a column, a pillar, strength," and "a fallow deer". Even this, however, can be further reduced. It's nominal root is derived from אוּל (Ool), which means "to congeal, thicken; be in front, be strong; first; beginning; belly" and "density (foolishness)". Such terms can easily be said to apply to horned venison, namely rams and bucks. As a result of the above, the term אֱלֹהִים collectively denotes either "charge" itself, or an object that "charges" - whether in the sense of rams/bucks colliding, or 'charging in'.
Bear in mind that the items depicted below are phenomena that are associated with the impact of cosmic radiation, whether in the form of low density gamma ray bursts from a nearby host star (micronova), or a simple solar flare. Also, bear in mind that the entirety of the Hebrew Bible (and its supplements) are based on the eyewitness observations of stellar catastrophism and the terrestrial cataclysms that came as a result of such (from a very high place, might I add).
If one were to see a visible influx of Ionized plasma eject from a dimly lit luminary, and such plasma was witnessed as osmosing through the exosphere to eventually funnel down to the troposphere, and then it was observed as generating a geomagnetic storm of biblical proportions, then the scenery of the terrestrially affected would look completely different; the sky would be totally unfamiliar and large swaths of the terrain around us would be disheveled and void. The radioactive debris and shockwave from the nova like event would augment the matter on the terrestrial plane and create completely different species (and species variants) and ecosystems that weren't present before the event; simultaneous mutations and extinctions galore. The scariest part of this is that while it may only last 30 seconds in cosmic time, it could last 40 days and 40 nights by our standards.
By the way, the geomagnetic storm would produce darkness, clouds, and immense lightning. Plasma instabilities that would scramble the mind would cover the sky, all of which concealing the deity, the power, the god in question (what does Amun mean again?). Also the deity would be viewed as pouring out, and the name for Khnum is depicted as a pitcher in hieroglyph (not to mention the associations with pottery (spinning wheel of goop), pouring and sheep.
I'll let you fill in the blanks from this point forward.
