Grief doesn’t ask for permission. It shows up in the middle of your day… in your memories… in your quiet moments.
And I’m going to be real with you…
I’m going through this tonight. It just showed up from something I created.
That’s the thing about grief — it can be triggered by growth. By memories. By reminders of who we were… and who we’re becoming.
But even in grief, your mindset still matters. 🤍
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, here are 3 things to do when grief feels heavy:
✨ 1. Pause — Don’t Panic Overwhelm is your nervous system asking for safety. Place your hand on your chest. Take 5 slow breaths. You are allowed to feel without falling apart.
✨ 2. Release — Don’t Suppress Cry. Journal. Pray. Take a walk. Grief that is buried becomes bitterness. Grief that is released becomes healing.
✨ 3. Reframe — Don’t Stay Stuck Instead of asking “Why me? "Ask, “What is this teaching me about love, strength, or resilience? "Your pain is proof that you loved deeply.
Tonight, I’m choosing to feel it…but not let it control me.
If you’re grieving too, you’re not alone. 🤍
Comment “HEALING” if you’re choosing growth even through grief.
