šŸ”„ Day 5 of My Public Dance Journey
Day 5 hit different.
The song was ā€œThe Way You Moveā€ by J.Don, and it threw me completely out of my usual groove. My freestyle style leans lyrical and contemporary, so this hip-hop track pushed me into new territory. I felt awkward, exposed, even frustrated at moments.
Halfway through, I realized how visible I was — how seen I felt — and it got in my head. But that’s when the real work started. I didn’t stop. I finished it. And while I didn’t love how it felt in the moment, I walked away proud that I moved through the resistance.
Because that’s what training confidence looks like — not waiting to feel ready, but acting anyway.
