✨ Let’s Talk Discipline (the real kind) ✨
Discipline isn’t about punishment.
It’s about teaching.
It’s the pause before reacting.
It’s consistency over intensity.
It’s helping kids learn what to do next time—not just what they did wrong.
The word comes from one we know well: disciple.
When we think of Jesus and His disciples, we think of teaching moments, never about power, control, or punishment.
👉 Discipline asks:
• What skill is my child missing right now?
• How can I guide instead of control?
• Am I responding, or reacting?
And let’s be honest—discipline is just as much about us as it is about them. Regulating ourselves first is often the hardest part.
💬 Reflection question:
What’s one discipline strategy that’s working for your family right now—or one you’re trying to improve? (I’m working on a discipline masterclass driven by biblical principles. It’s going to be awesome!)
Remember: You’re not failing if it’s hard. You’re parenting. 💛
