Shingles on reta
Has anyone else dealt with weird skin tingling or shingles while on Reta?
I’ve been titrating up slowly for 5 weeks with zero issues (started at 0.5mg and worked up to 2.0mg). But in week 6, right after pinning 2mg in my upper glute, I started feeling this super uncomfortable tingling. It spread from my glute to under my arm and across the right side of my chest. By Thursday, I had a full-on rash and urgent care confirmed it was shingles.
I’m only in my 30s, so I’m pretty shocked. Has anyone heard of a link between this and the peptides, or did I just get super unlucky with a coincidence?
