Now let’s get into the streets! Netflix! They are all over social media, financial and news outlets as they are positioning themselves to acquire Wanner Bros for $72 Billion! They are 📉just under 1% Pre Market as the news continue to progress. Netflix has over (approx) 400 Million subscribers globally, and Im sure they are rooting for this acquisition. Now they still have some hurdles to cross as the DOJ and the Administration scrutinize any potential Anti-trust regulations, as this will give them a huge market share, as they continue to compete with other Streaming platforms! Meanwhile, Netflix argues the deal is pro-consumer, combining complementary assets to offer more content and reach broader audiences, which will strengthen the industry. Now the real question will be, strengthen for who⁉️ Also, there is something else brewing! As Warren Buffett continues to structure some changes to Berkshire Hathaway before he steps down at the end of the year, Todd Combs, who is the investment officer and Geico CEO, has resigned! He has “accepted an interesting and important job at JPMorgan,” as head of the bank’s new Security and Resiliency Initiative, to find direct equity investments in the defense, aerospace, healthcare and energy industries.
