Why I Don’t Keep All My ₿itcoin in One Wallet
I don’t believe in keeping all my BTC in one hardware wallet.
Not because any wallet is bad. But because different tools serve different purposes.
Some wallets are built for deep, long term storage. They feel like a vault. You plug in, verify on the device, sign, and you’re done. Perfect for larger amounts you are not moving often.
Others are built for flexibility and ease. Tap to use. Portable. Simple. Great for smaller amounts or funds you may access more regularly.
Those are two different use cases. Two different risk profiles.
If something happens to one device or one private key, you are not fully exposed.
I like separating mine into categories:
Long term cold storage
Medium term holdings
Smaller movement wallet
This is not about fear, but rather; about structure.
Systems reduce stress. Clarity reduces mistakes.
How are you storing your ₿itcoin right now? Single wallet or a split setup? 🧡 ₿
