Need some advice
Whats good people, so recently I was offered to play at an open mic in Shoreditch, London on august the 7th. The problem is I basically have no money at the minute and have nobody to tag along with me . Even though this is an amazing opportunity and it would be my first sort of gig I believe it would be more beneficial to secure a later date when I can bring somebody and I have money in the bank. I also live in coventry so I specifically said on the application "looking to perform between September-december in or around cov/birmingham".
Overall I believe I can secure another gig between those months and it isn't worth rushing everything to do this in just a week unprepared having been to London once and also just about having enough money to get me there and back
please let me know your thoughts. And if anybody has any links or anything where I can sign up to secure my first gigs let me know. Thanks in advance
