“That your prayers may not be hindered”
Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.
How we treat our spouses will be a direct reflection of how we will treat others. If we sacrifice ourselves daily to our wives, we will be more prone to show the same attributes of love to others which is what God calls us to do. So in effect it’s a daily spiritual refinement that not only benefits our marriages but also transcends to others. It’s through serving our wives that we continue to learn how to serve others which should change the things that we pray for to be more aligned with His Will. I think through alignment is why Peter says “our prayers will not be hindered.”
Have a blessed day fellas!
