Back in 2015, I accidentally discovered one of the craziest little affiliate marketing loopholes I've ever seen.
And it all started with about $40.
Here's what happened...
I was experimenting with different ways to generate cheap traffic.
And when I say cheap, I mean **PENNIES.**
I ended up buying around $40 worth of those super cheap adult pop-under ads.
Nothing fancy.
No elaborate funnel.
No complicated setup.
I just pointed that traffic DIRECTLY to one of my Amazon affiliate links.
And then something pretty wild happened...
**That $40 generated over $400 in Amazon affiliate commissions.**
In just a matter of DAYS.
Literally a 10X return on my ad spend.
I remember thinking...
"Wait a minute...did I just discover a money-printing machine?!"
But here's where the story takes a turn...
A few weeks later, Amazon suspended my affiliate account.
And those $400+ in commissions?
**Never got paid.**
Apparently, the way I was sending traffic violated their affiliate program rules.
So while the experiment proved something VERY interesting about cheap traffic and affiliate marketing...
It also taught me a pretty expensive lesson:
**Generating commissions and actually getting PAID those commissions are two VERY different things.**
And ever since then, I've had this idea stuck in the back of my mind...
What if there was a way to take advantage of super cheap traffic...
Without having to build complicated funnels...
Without spending thousands on advertising...
And without running into the same compliance problems?
For YEARS, I couldn't figure out how to make the economics work reliably.
Until recently...
When I stumbled across a pretty interesting affiliate marketing offer that reminded me of that original experiment.
And let's just say...
**It has me VERY curious about testing this strategy again.**
I'm not promising anyone a 10X return. My original experiment was unusual, and I never actually received those commissions.
But the underlying concept of turning inexpensive traffic into affiliate revenue?
THAT still fascinates me.
And I think this new opportunity is worth a closer look.
