How to Safely Remove Spiders Indoors
While spiders are helpful for natural pest control, their presence indoors can be unsettling. Spiders often enter through small gaps or windows, especially in basements or attics. Regularly dusting, vacuuming, and sealing entry points can significantly reduce their numbers.
Natural Repellents: Mix water with a few drops of essential oils like peppermint, tea tree, or citrus in a spray bottle. Spraying areas like baseboards, windows, and doorways repels spiders effectively.
Prevention Tips: Remove webs regularly, as spiders are less likely to stay in disturbed areas. Declutter storage spaces where spiders may hide. Adding a dehumidifier in damp areas also makes the home less attractive to them. For extreme cases, sticky traps are effective.
