Resilience
Today was one of those days where almost everything that is already challenging about my Monday made it a point to elevate and reach new heights.
It started out with...
  1. A usual 30-minute commute turned into 90 minutes. Despite me following all of the GPS directions, it still didn't work out.
  2. I had to cover two lunch periods pretty much alone. I had assistance for about 10 minutes and then I was solo. Mind you, this consisted of about 40 students. (Kindergarten-5th grade). I usually have help, but the person that usually is present was out today.
SO...I pressed through both of these situations and am stronger for it. However, there are those days when I don't want to have to be strong. I just want to follow the instructions and fall in line with routine.
Do you ever have those days? How do you handle them?
