My journey in the insurance world
Hello everyone. My name is Kim and I've been in some sort of insurance since 1992. In 2018 I decided to focus on health and life, which was NOT the avenue I was on before. It was a learning curve. To top it off, I decided since I live in Florida I should focus on Medicare. LOL Then the pandemic happened and I got licensed in a bunch of states so that I could be a remote agent. After about 6 months at a call center, I said this is BS and went independent. I currently work with a couple of FMOs and have a zillion contracts, some direct, with the carriers available here in Florida. I am still licensed in many other states for the "what if", but I enjoy meeting my prospects face-to-face and assisting them through the Medicare labyrinth.
I should add that I've been with AgentCRM for a few years now and I love it. If I could quote and enroll my clients in this same software, that would be a dream! 😉
