Each chakra has its own element. Your general sense of well being usually has a baseline element. (You could be feeling passionate today, fire. Lethargic, Earth. Super emotional, water. Stuck in your head, air).
Elements are just a general guide though. They aren't meant for specific energies or readings but to give a good foundation and understanding.
But they can definitely help when you focus on each chakra and feel which element you currently feel and what you can use to balance that energy out with.
Feel which element you align with the most and feel which one you need more of.
