Home, Travel, Repeat
Tokyo. Then London.
…rewind to the beginning.
The sun is shining in LA.
I’m already a little late.
Chocolate oatmeal in one hand.
Coffee in the other.
Commuting toward the sky.
I’m heading to HND — Tokyo’s international airport.
4,900 miles from home.
Across the Pacific, toward an island chain rising from blue water.
In aviation, life is lived in separate parts:
home,
travel,
repeat.
—
And now we have a new category to add:
Ink & Alchemy
home,
Ink & Alchemy
travel,
Ink & Alchemy
repeat.
I love that.
Ink refers to the pen — the act of writing, capturing life, thoughts, and feelings.
Alchemy is the transformation of those moments into art.
My camera, my pen, and my thoughts are my weapons.

Tokyo was unforgettable.
Osaka felt incredibly quiet. Cars glided through the streets with almost no noise. I was very aware that if we spoke loudly, everyone could hear our conversations word for word.
During these layovers, I worked on building our Ink & Alchemy community.
Osaka with the crew meant bar hopping — including an Irish pub — followed by enjoying Asahi and Gyozas at a cute Japanese cafe, and a then beautiful dinner at Jasmine Thai. I know I’m spoiled, and I’m grateful for it. 🖤
Last night I was in London, exhausted from Tokyo I just ordered delivery, Thai food again and then developed Ink & Alchemy while resting.
And now I’m home again, preparing for next week.
Aviation life moves fast.
I try to record everything and capture moments whenever I can.
Pouring love into Ink & Alchemy feels life-changing.
