Using the word “GET” in Real Life English.
GET is one of the most common (and useful!) verbs in English.
Here are 4 super practical ways to use it today:
🔹 1) get + noun = receive / obtain
I got a new job.
She got a message from her friend.
🔹 2) get + place = arrive
I got home late.
What time did you get to work?
🔹 3) get + adjective = become
It’s getting cold.
He’s getting tired.
🔹 4) get + past participle = passive meaning
My phone got stolen.
The window got broken.
