Anyways, why are we on here?
To connect to make friends get inspired
Connect socially, and then maybe professionally
Learn from each other and make moves
Since my current strategy is basically scrubbing groups daily today, I will go through the other 6000 goosify posts that I haven’t gone through yet
Why? Honestly, I guess it’s just a curiosity and if I really like a group, I will literally go through every single post in the group.
I have a chrome extension that lets me open all 30 posts instantaneously so it doesn’t really take that long and honestly, I go through them pretty fast especially when it’s older posts, but I’m just curious
On MacBook, you just hit commands W and it closes tabs immediately so it doesn’t really take that long to process a tremendous amount of content
I’m just looking for a yes, in my spirit that says comment or check this person out
If it’s someone who looks interesting or cool, I may even follow them or request to join their group
My only rule is, I only comment on a post when I genuinely feel an inspiration to comment

Just because someone joins my group does not mean anything does not mean they want me to coach them or I am now their leader. It means they clicked a button at least they are slightly curious maybe even just one out of 10 curious
My dad was a Lieutenant Colonel in the army, so I just have this innate sense of don’t tell me to do anything bro
I work too damn hard to take orders from any fucking person
I find it to be offputting when the initial or Auto DM is a command

I’m just hyper aware of command language and authority. I never tell anybody to do anything.
I guess you get business success by generating conversations in DMS, but I personally think it’s obnoxious when you immediately jump down the person’s throat
Like if you ever wanna do a Collab call with me that’s cool it doesn’t really bother me if you don’t want to talk to me lol
I prefer a casual way of doing business I guess
