Welcome to a learning community focused on seasonal observation, plant knowledge, and practical skills rooted in the land.
Members learn through guided instruction, seasonal topics, and informed discussion that connects plants, place, and time.
The community is led by Sabrina Halvorson, a University of Minnesota Extension Master Naturalist, a graduate of the Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine, a member of United Plant Savers, and a chapter coordinator for Herbalists Without Borders. She also serves as the appointed U.S. Country Director for the World Agriculture Forum and was named 2024 Farm Broadcaster of the Year by the National Association of Farm Broadcasters.
Topics include plant identification, seasonal patterns, food systems, land stewardship, and the practical skills that come from paying close attention to the natural world. Whether you're preparing for a zombie apocalypse or just want to be able to safely snack while hiking, you're in the right place.
