✨ A Note From Me — and an Invitation to Reconnect ✨
Hello Beautiful In Full Force Women,
It’s been a little while since I’ve shared an update, and I wanted to reach out with a quick note about where I’ve been — and where I’m headed, especially as we move through this beautiful holiday season and toward a fresh New Year.
And just as importantly, I want to ask: how have YOU been?
This past year has been full of transformation for me — inside, outside, and with a fluffy new addition. I welcomed a new puppy, Dublin, named after one of my favorite places in the world. My time in Ireland was a huge part of how I healed and rediscovered myself after full-time motherhood, so bringing home Dublin felt symbolic — a reminder of adventure, renewal, and choosing joy. I posted a picture of her below.
And now, the good news I’m so grateful to share: I’m no longer sad about the empty nest. I’m actually embracing and loving this new era!
When I first created this group, I struggled with serious imposter syndrome. I wondered, “How can I support women who feel stuck in the empty nest when I’m still sitting in it so deeply myself?”
But that’s exactly why this community matters — because none of us have to do this alone, and we don’t have to wait until everything feels perfect to begin growing.
Over the past year, I made the intentional choice to use the empty nest not as a reason to shrink, but as an invitation to return to myself. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training, which grounded me in ways I didn’t realize I needed. Then my daughter went on CBS’s Survivor, and working with CBS and Bucketlisters to create the Survivor Café at The Greatest Bar lit up a whole new part of me — the part that loves designing experiences, building community, and creating moments that make people feel connected and alive.
That spark continued into The Greatest Winter Wonderland, where I’ve poured my creativity into building joyful, immersive holiday experiences. From the Wreath & Gingerbread Decorating Parties to our Holiday Brunches, it’s been such a gift to watch people come together, laugh, create, and reconnect — especially during a season that can feel lonely for many.
If you’re craving connection or a little holiday magic, I would love to see you at one of these events. And if the timing doesn’t work, I’m already dreaming up some fun and meaningful New Year’s and Valentine’s events to keep the momentum going.
But this space was always meant to be more than my personal updates — it’s a true community, a place where you can share your stories, your struggles, your healing, and your rediscovery.
I’d love to hear: How are you doing? What have you rediscovered about yourself this year? What growth or shifts have emerged in your own empty-nest chapter? What do you need in the New Year to feel like you are growing in positive ways?
Please feel free to share in the comments so we can reconnect, support, and inspire one another. Your stories matter — and they may be exactly what another woman here needs to hear.
As we wrap up the holidays and look ahead to 2026, I’m sending each of you so much love, warmth, and encouragement. I’m back, and I’m ready to make some waves — for myself, for this community, and for all the powerful reinvention ahead. Here’s to a joyful season and a new year filled with purpose, connection, and beautiful rediscovery.
💛 Julie
