Want to turn Arpeggios practice into Improv Practice? ✅
I promise it's more fun to practice your arpeggios when you're improvising than just straight-up arpeggios!
For somewhere easy to start, start playing your C major & G major arpeggios along with this backing track.
The important thing here is to listen for the change in the backing track: hear when it changes from C major to G major?
When it changes to G major, YOU change to G major arpeggios! Your reaction to the backing track is what's most important here. Not playing a lot of notes! Try to play a few notes very beautifully with lots of intention.
You can IMPROVISE on the rhythm, articulation, octave and dynamics as much as you want!
Record yourself. Listen to your recordings. And share them here! 😁
