Greetings on this Ancestor Worship Day. In Yoruba Culture we refer to our ancestors as Egungun. They are fundamental to our spiritual practice because they are our direct blood line, they are our family, our great great grand parents and other deceased family members that have paved the way for existence.
Today is also Obatala’s worship day so we honor both of them today so that we are always in alignment with our highest manifestation of our being.
These Orisa will always support you for being dedicated and giving to them. The way we show our dedication is through giving offerings to them. If these Orisa are your guardian spirits it is good to give an offering to them on their worship day.
Also if you have a special prayer and you would like for them to support you it is good to give an offering as well.
Click the link below to sign up for your offering. You will also receive a ritual that will show you how to honor these Orisa in your home as well.
