I spoke to a student today who has not reached the needed band score
She spent lots of money…She felt like a failure…And she kept booking the test again and again.
So I asked her one simple question:
👉 “Were you actually ready?”
She couldn’t answer.
💡 The truth is…
Most students book the test based on:
- Pressure from family
- Deadlines
- Fear of missing out
- Hope that “next time will be better”
- Frustration or exhaustion
❌ These are emotional decisions❌ And emotional decisions lead to repeated failure
✅ The ONLY question you should ask:
👉 “Am I ready?”
And here’s how you know:
✔ Reading & Listening:You consistently get your target score in practice tests
✔ Speaking & Writing:You consistently get your target band with expert feedback
🎯 If the answer is NO → don’t book the test yet.
Fix your weaknesses first. Then book with confidence.
💬 Discussion:
👉 Why did YOU book your last test?Emotion or logic?
