Clean candles. Perfect symmetry. A textbook pullback.
You’re already thinking: “This one is too clean to miss.” 👀
But what did it actually prove?
An organized chart can make you feel safe before the evidence earns your confidence.
🔍 Put the setup through the ICC evidence test:
⚡ Indication: Which meaningful high or low did price break? What changed in the structure?
🛡️ Correction: Did the pullback preserve that structural claim—or undermine it?
✅ Continuation: Did price demonstrate acceptance beyond the boundary—or briefly cross it and retreat?
If you can explain why it looks good but can’t explain what it changed, you haven’t finished reading the chart.
A beautiful arrangement without structural consequence is decoration. 🎨
🎯 EVIDENCE DRILL
Take one “perfect-looking” setup from your journal.
Remove the indicators and labels. Then mark:
- The exact structural high or low the Indication broke.
- The level the Correction needed to defend.
- The price behavior that confirmed acceptance.
Can’t identify the evidence clearly? Downgrade the setup. Don’t fill the gaps with confidence.
📌 ICC PRINCIPLE
A setup is not valid because it looks complete.
It is valid because the evidence is complete.
